Hal (also known as Halbert Alexander Dogsworth) is an overly curious, sensitive, emotional, clumsy, silly, rambunctious, lovable dog. Some might think he’s not the smartest canine around, but he always comes up with the simplest solution to a problem. You might even call him a genius! He is so loyal to Nature Cat and the gang that he will do anything for them. He can be absent-minded, but playful.

He is a tan-orange shaggy dog with a long pink nose, long brown ears, wears a red collar around his neck, and his belly is beige.
